New blog…
Black and white photography has been my main source of creative expression for over 40 years. My first darkroom was commissioned when I was 15 years old and I continue to see the world in that way. Film was my only medium until 2008 when I switched to digital capture. The Leica M cameras has been my most stable photography platform for many years, but I have also usd Leica Q’s more recently. The simple logic of the M system has always been the smallest barrier to my photographic compositions. Although digital conversion of a color image to black and white has been the mainstay of my post production process, I recently acquired a Leica M10 Monochrom and am enjoying that unique tool. Stay tuned for my observations on the process of producing black and white images and my thoughts on post production workflows.
